Vinay Nair

Vinay has been a Director at Social and Sustainable Capital (SASC), one of the UK’s leading impact investors, and spent the past decade as Co-Founder & CEO of Lightful, a tech for good company that helped almost 4,000 nonprofits across 121 countries raise more awareness and funds for their work, through digital and AI powered tools, training and support.

Earlier in his career, Vinay was an Executive Director at JPMorgan, worked with the Clinton Foundation in Mozambique, and completed a mid career MPA at the London School of Economics. He holds a BA (Hons.) degree from Trinity College Dublin, having grown up in Ireland. Vinay has known and admired 60 Decibels’ team and work for many years, making this something of a full circle moment.

Outside work, Vinay is the proud father of a 14 year old daughter and an 11 year old son, and is married to an amazing physician. He loves a wide variety of sport and music, travelling, cooking, meditation and spending time with family and friends. If you’re in London, there’s every chance he’ll be up for one of his favourite hobbies, a “cheeky pint”.
