Mónica Restrepo Franco
Mónica is an Analyst at 60 Decibels based in Medellín, Colombia. She’s a passionate, resourceful and detail-oriented person. An enthusiast for social innovation initiatives and social enterprises that use the best practices of business to benefit society and the environment. Prior to joining 60 Decibels, Mónica worked as project manager and researcher at an NGO coordinating social impact measurement projects and entrepreneurship programs.
She has also worked as a social psychologist in programs for informal recyclers, women heads of households and university students. As a field researcher she has explored social and urban issues, developed research instruments and generated quantitative and qualitative data for informed decision-making processes.
Currently, Mónica is pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Venture Management at Eafit University. Outside work she enjoys good coffee and craft beer along with good conversations, loves hiking, driving cars, using her bike to get around, spoiling her cats, and following the cycling Grand Tours.
